Job Summary:
Georgia Renal Associates is hiring to meet our growing needs We are an established specialty practice in Athens, Georgia, dedicated to providing exemplary patient care. We are currently seeking Full-time Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. If you re passionate about creating a positive patient care experience, we d love to speak with you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Check-In and Check-Out
- Greeting and working up patients
- Accurately take and record vitals
- Obtain appropriate medical information/medical history and review medications Handle calls/messages from patients in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification from an accredited MA program
- Prior experience is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using computer systems, including EHR software and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures is beneficial
- Must be a team player
Compensation:
- Minimum Compensation per hour is $18 and will be commensurate with experience.
