Compensation:

  • Average Weekly Pay: $1,900+
    • Top 10% of drivers at this location make $120K per year
    • Hourly Pay: $27.00 Per Hour Plus Additional $1 for Every 3 Certifications/Endorsements
      • 50 + hours average per week, overtime paid after 40 hours
  • Additional pay:
    • Per Diem Pay: $50.00 per night out
  • Bonuses
    • Sign on Bonus: $500, pays you $250 at 30 days and $250 at 90 days
    • NST Tenure bonus: $1000 each year when actively employed from Nov 1st Oct 31st
    • Unlimited driver referral bonuses
  • Paid via direct deposit weekly

Home Time, Route & Schedule:

  • Home Time: Home weekly including most weekends
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, must be flexible
  • Route: NE and New England region
    • Overnight for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel or sleeper
  • Combination touch/no touch freight, varies by route
    • Equipment: Manual Pallet Jacks, Rollers, Lift Gates and Moffett

Equipment:

  • Trucks are 36 months or newer
  • Trailer Type: Dry Van, 48' - 53'
  • 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid CDL A License
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
    • 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
    • 2 years experience within the last 5 years, OR
    • 5 years experience within the last 10 years
  • Ryder will Reimburse Cost and Provide Training to Obtain Endorsements
  • Pass a Ryder Drug Test
  • Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
  • Must live within 30 miles of Boston, MA
