The Salesforce Success Central (SFSC) team is looking for a passionate, innovative, results-oriented Software Development Engineer to be developing solutions that make it simpler for CRM customers to manage, maintain and operate at scale. We will provide products and solutions that help give our talented selling and marketing teams "superpowers" that let them focus on the customer and helping them drive their business. We're handling massive scale, providing strategic data that drives the AWS business internally, and supporting one of the largest field sales organizations in the world.
As a Software Development Engineer in SFSC team, you'll have a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of our services and innovate in the space of Customer Relationship Management (CRM). You'll be chartered with creating and operating services that collect and store metrics at internet scale, deliver critical capabilities to the field and embed operational knowledge and encode best practices into everything we do. In addition, as part of the SFSC charter, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the broader strategy for Amazon wide CRM organizations and potentially future AWS products.
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Design and deliver internet scalable, flexible, and integrated set of solutions for our selling team. This includes both first-party (i.e., internally built systems on AWS) and third-party (i.e., Salesforce) solutions.
- Create and manage application stacks across several domains utilizing various AWS infrastructure services.
- Develop tools to help customers develop quick solutions for integrating with Salesforce CRM.
- Tech lead critical roadmap items with a team of engineers and work closely with technical product/program managers to define, build and drive solutions at scale taking our team's software as a preferred Salesforce Integration mechanism across the entire company
A day in the life
We have a team culture that encourages innovation and we expect team members and management alike to take high degree of ownership for their program vision and execution of ideas. Beyond a strong technical background and proven track record of product management, a successful candidate will have experience driving strategy and influencing executive leadership. We are looking for someone that is a self-starter, someone that approaches complex business questions with data and curiosity, and a person that dives below the surface to identify the root cause and "so what" rather than just superficial trends.
