Savage is looking for a new Team Member to safely and efficiently transfer petroleum coke from the coke pit to a material handling system that will feed the Gasifier Unit inside Coffeyville Resource’s refinery using various types of material handling equipment.

Qualifications:

Must have a strong commitment to safety
Must understand the importance of customer service
Must be a strong communicator
Must be a solid team player
Must be willing to do any task(s) that require(s) attention
Willingness to learn new skills is required
Some maintenance experience is helpful
Experience working with front end loaders is beneficial
Must work safely at all times
Must possess at least a valid Class B CDL, Class A CDL preferred
Must be able to read, write and understand English
Must have basic math skills
Must be able to follow written and/or verbal instructions
Must be able to operate a 10 wheel dump truck and understands all controls involved in the dump truck operation
Must be able to operate a variety of equipment (excavator, front end loader, Skid steer, etc.)
Must be able to pass a written and skills test on the type of equipment that he or she will be operating
Must be willing to help with maintenance, clean-up, and anything else that requires attention, as directed by the Operation Manager or lead operator
Must be reliable
Must wear required PPE
Must conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times
Must be willing to comply with Savage’s personal appearance policy

Physical Requirements:

Driver/Operator will work outdoors everyday and as a result will be exposed to the elements
Driver/Operator must be physically able to climb in and out of the equipment, ascend and descend ladders and steps and should not have a fear of heights
Driver/Operator must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
Must have the ability to use basic hand tools

Job Requirements:

Must possess at least a valid Class B CDL, Class A CDL preferred
Must be able to operate a 10 wheel dump truck and understands all controls involved in the dump truck operation
Must be able to operate a variety of equipment (excavator, front end loader, Skid steer, etc.)
Driver/Operator must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
