Position Responsibilities: * Evaluates, assesses and documents patient's hemodynamic response to therapeutic intervention by accurate cardiovascular monitoring. Reports abnormal rhythm to physician. * Monitors, evaluates, documents and trouble shoots patients hemodynamic response with the use of cath lab specialty equipment. * Accurately transcribes, reviews and carry's out physician orders. * Assess and reassess as per hospital policy. * Competent in the insertion of peripheral intravenous catheters * Monitors, evaluates and intervenes appropriately with patients receiving conscious sedation. * Demonstrates appropriate safety measures as it relates to potential radiation exposure. * Responds to diagnostic data and initiates appropriate action or intervention. * Assesses and implements safety devices pre-intra-post Cardiac Cath procedures. * Demonstrates proper groin management for arterial sheath interventions. Minimum qualifications: * Current/Valid Florida RN Licensure * BLS and ACLS Certification required. * 2 years in RN position within a Telemetry monitored area or specialty patient care unit preferred Benefits We believe in the physical and mental well-being of our employees and are committed to offering comprehensive benefits that fit their personal needs.
