This is *contract *role with our client *CHOP Main Hospital* as *CT Technician* for *Philadelphia, PA* location.

*REQUIREMENTS for this role are:*

· CPR certification from a hands on program

· Minimum of 3 years of experience is required essential, pediatric experience required, EPIC experience required, and Siemens experience required.

· High School Diploma/equivalent required.

· Technical Diploma from a Radiology Program Required

*JOB FUNCTION *

*Essential Functions*

Perform computed tomography techniques and examinations

• Conducts a variety of computed tomography (CT) procedures including assisting radiologists with biopsies, cardiac CT, CT Angiograms, and post-processing.

Produce computed tomography scans for diagnostic interpretation

• Operate CT equipment and select technical factors

• Responsible for proper identification on images, including both identification and demographic information 100% of the time.

• Document all related data.

• Provide radiation protection for patients, families, staff, the general public and self.

Other Responsibilities

• Identify, process, transfer and archive patient exams including exam records, images and patient demographics.

• Maintain the integrity and security of the radiology information systems.

• Resolve and escalate complex issues.

• Orient and train fellow staff technologists.

• Develop and deliver training and in-service presentations.

• Subject to on-call status including weekends and holidays.

• Other shifts as assigned

• All other duties as assigned

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $60.43 - $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:
