ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Duties include, but may not be limited to, the following:

  • Operates various tool room machinery and equipment.

  • Reads and interprets Engineering drawings or job orders for product specifications.

  • Performs various routine tasks associated with the build and/or maintenance of tools, dies, and fixtures.

  • Completes and maintains records and logs as required for the job.

  • Maintains assigned equipment and work area for safety and cleanliness.

  • All other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions.

  • Understands or learns principles and basic functions of fine blank presses or hydraulic presses.

  • Good reading, writing, mathematical, listening, communicating skills, and organization skills.

  • Basic computer skills and Organizational Skills

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma/general education degree (GED); or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Must pass a criminal background check prior to starting.

SCHEDULE

  • 8 hour shift

  • Overtime
