Duties:

- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing, NSP
Therapy. NEW GRADS WELCOME to apply.
- Take and develop dental x-rays/Panoramic using Dexis digital radiography
- Conduct head and neck and intra oral oral cancer screenings
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions and periodontal therapy pre and post treatment.
- Administer local anesthesia as needed
- Assist dentists during procedures if needed by providing necessary tools and materials
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix/Dexis dental software systems
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care. Crossover skills required to take impressions, fabricate bleaching trays and utilize Zoom bleaching techniques.

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of dental hygiene principles, ethics and practices
- Proficiency in using Dentrix for patient record management and scheduling and Dexis for digital radiography
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and explain treatment plans.
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and adherence to infection control protocols
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced dental office environment. Adequate time given for procedures pertaining to client care

Please note that additional duties may be assigned as needed, such as recall system calls, light scheduling , answering the phone or model pouring and trimming.
