North Carolina Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP) Locum Tenens (Morganton & Valdese, NC)

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking the best North Carolina licensed Nurse Practitioners (NPs) with Emergency Medicine experience to join our locum tenens roster in Morganton and Valdese beginning in July. 

This is a cross-credential opportunity with two incredibly supported facilities just a few miles from one another nestled in the stunning Blue Ridge Mountain Range. This helps assure Rhino providers maintain their ideal schedule throughout the summer and provides for greater scheduling flexibility.

This is a full travel, lodging and malpractice coverage assignment with a dedicated in-house team of credentiling assistants and travel coordinators at your disposal. Let us focus on the paperwork so you can dedicate your talents to helping those in need.

Main Campus
  • Trama Level: Level III Trauma
  • Annual Volume: 30k
  • ED Beds: 19
  • Daily Shift Schedule: 8a-6p, 11a-9a, or 5p-3a
  • EMR: EPIC
Secondary Campus:
  • Annual Volume: 15k
  • ED Beds: 12
  • Daily Shift Schedule: 12p - 10p
  • EMR: EPIC
Candidate Requirements:
  • Current North Carolina State License & Unrestricted DEA
  • AANP or ANCC Certified Nurse Practitioner 
  • Recent/Ongoing ED Experience in Comparable Volumes
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS
