Nurse Practitioner Crisis Care Center - Beautiful Reno/Lake Tahoe Area

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Renown Health s new Crisis Care Center. This center will provide medical screening, assistance, and resources to individuals in our community who are experiencing mental health challenges and crises in an UC/ER setting.

Position Details:

  • Full-time employed position with Renown Medical Group as a Provider
  • Dedicated Team: MDs, NPs, RNs, LCSW, Peer Support Specialists, & Security Officer
  • Reduce the number of adult psychiatric and addiction patients being treated in Renown Emergency Departments to open beds for other individuals with medical needs.
  • Ability to provide medical assessment upon triage to patients.
  • Work within an ER/Urgent Care setting.
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Formal Academic Affiliation with University of Nevada School of Medicine/Renown

Position Requirements:

  • Experience:
    • 2-years minimum experience as an RN required.
    • 1-year of clinical experience preferred as a Nurse Practitioner.
    • New FNP grads are welcomed.
  • Licensure: Ability to obtain and maintain State of Nevada licensure, Controlled Substance License, and DEA as a Nurse Practitioner.
