FULL-TIME

• Perform repairs on class 8 equipment within employee current skill level
• Inspect equipment during the repair process to determine if additional repairs are necessary
• Perform all jobs within the expected time unassisted
• Make satisfactory comments to document work performed on all repair orders
• Perform preventative maintenance services
• Perform Department of Transport Truck inspections
• Perform safety systems checks
• Perform wheel seal replacements
• Perform wheel bearing and race assemblies
• Repair and replace diesel particulate filters and reset ash count
• Perform break inspections and repairs
• Perform tire inspections and replacements (including mounts and dismounts)
• Perform basic batteries and warranty testing
• Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs and use a multi-meter
• Repair and replace starters and alternators
• Install and repair satellite systems
• Diagnose, repair, and replace seats and components
• Diagnose, repair, and replace radios and components

Schedule

Shift start: 8:00AM
Shift length: 8.5 hours
Monday - Friday, 1st shift

Must pass drug screen

• Own the tools required to perform the position responsibilities of this level excluding those provided by the company • Understand, communicate, read, and write the English language • Lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis and 95 lbs. on a frequent basis to mount tires Education and Experience • High school diploma or equivalent • Valid driver’s license required
