TITLE: Nurse / RN Circulator

LOCATION: Lexington, Kentucky

What they are looking for:

- An Associates Degree in Nursing is required. A Bachelors Degree in Nursing is preferred.

- Must have experience as a Circulator.

- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS

- Must have an active RN license in the state of Kentucky.

Hours and compensation potential:

- Positions are on the day shift and the person must be able to rotate on-call responsibilities.

- Looking for candidates with experience working in the Operating Room (OR).

- Hourly pay range is between $30-$44, depending on experience. They offer an excellent benefit package and may provide relocation or sign-on bonuses.

What you will be doing:
Performing plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatments.
Documenting patient care given.
Monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
Ensuring surgical asepsis, sterile technique, and preparing and positioning patients for procedures.
Collaborating with other disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
Evaluating patient and/or family learning needs and providing appropriate education throughout the perioperative process.
Advocating for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
Assessing and caring for the surgical patient throughout the intraoperative process, assisting with preoperative preparation and postoperative care.
Operating specialized equipment for procedures and maintaining a safe surgical environment.

The hospital is an 80-bed acute care facility that is Joint Commission Accredited.

This position reports to the Director of OR and you will be working with a great team.
