Job Description:

Genie Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced LPN, (LTC) to fill an opening located in Rushville, NE for $1882/Week (taxed + non-taxed)

Gross week: $1882/week

Non taxable Stipend:$1162/Week | $32.28/Hour

Taxable pay: $720/Week| $20/Hour

Blended Hourly: | $52.28/hr

Requirements of the (LPN):

● Must have AHA BLS certification

● Must have valid NE, LPN License

● Must have at least 2 years of experience in LPN, LTC

Responsibilities of the (LPN):

● Shifts: 12 hour shifts; 6:00AM-6:30PM or 6:00PM-6:30AM.

● 36 hours/wk

● 13 week contract

*Responsibilities*
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor patients' conditions and report changes to the healthcare team
- Assist in patient assessments and care planning
- Educate patients and their families on health management
- Perform various nursing procedures such as catheterization and inhalation therapy
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in discharge planning and patient education
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients

*Skills*
- Proficiency in occupational health practices
- Experience in acute pain management
- Ability to catheterize patients when necessary
- Knowledge of medical terminology and physiology
- Familiarity with ophthalmology procedures
- Strong understanding of infection control measures
- Previous experience in a teaching hospital setting is a plus
