As a full time, non-exempt CPS Solutions, LLC Specialty Pharmacy Technician, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.
Schedule: This position will work 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm.
About the Facility: Memorial Health System is a not-for-profit integrated health system that includes a 200-bed acute care hospital, 25 bed critical access hospital, and two outpatient infusion centers. The Health System employs over 2,700 employees, including 325 providers representing 64 clinics and over 40 specialties. Memorial Health System is committed to providing quality, affordable care with an additional focus on medical education and community service. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.
About the Pharmacy: The Pharmacy is open Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm, closed on Weekends and Holidays (Subject to Change).
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 2 years of recent pharmacy technician experience
OH Licensure/Registration/Certification requirements
Require National Certification within one year of licensure
Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
Effective communications skills; verbal and written
Hospital Requirements: (may be required)
(PPD) TB Gold Test
(MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
Hep B3 Series (or declination)
(Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
