Position Summary STATUS: Per Diem/ As Needed/ Pool The Vascular Access Department provides comprehensive care for the Adult Inpatient and Outpatient on a 24 hour/7- day a week basis at ORMC. The following services are provided: Placement of complicated peripheral intravenous catheters (PIV), Placement of Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC) lines using modified seldinger technique with Sherlock 3CG tip confirmation system, Placement of midlines, Placement of PICC, PIV and midlines using ultrasound technology, Education of staff, patients and family members, Troubleshooting malfunctioning and malposition lines, PICC and midline dressing changes as needed for troubleshooting.
