Overview:

Provides support and performs duties as assigned to assist the Pathologists, Pathology supervisor, transcriptionists, and histotechnicians; processes tissue specimens received into the Pathology department and maintains Pathology equipment and instrumentation.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science including at least sixty semester hours of biology or related field.
  • One year working in anatomic pathology laboratory.Preferred Qualifications:Education: B.S. in Laboratory sciences or medical technology
  • Certification: ASCP - American Society of Clinical Pathologist ASCP-PA / AAPA Pathologist Assistant certification.
