Position Title: CVOR Scrub Technician

Location: CHRISTUS Highland Medical Center
1453 E Bert Kouns Industrial Loop, Shreveport, LA, 71105

Shift: 0, Monday to Friday
Length: 13 weeks
Holidays (HOL): Per Ministry Policy
Call Schedule: 10 days per month
Float Policy: Per Ministry Policy
Scrubs Provided: Yes
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours with possible overtime opportunities
EMR System: Meditech

Job Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of CVOR Scrub Technician experience required.
  • Travel Experience: Previous travel experience preferred.
  • Certification: NBSTSA (CST) certification required (www.nbstsa.org).
  • BLS Certification: American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required.
  • Background Check: Louisiana contractors must obtain an additional background check for county and sex offender search within 45 days. Preferred vendor is Southern Research, but other acceptable agencies listed by the LA State Police Authorized Agencies List are also valid.
