About this role.
As a physician in our Senior Primary Care clinic, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and an excellent patient experience. In this role, you will see approximately 18 patients in a 10-hour day.
- You will practice at Mesquite Senior Primary Care Clinic
- Your hours will be 4 10-hour shifts with no call
- You'll receive a $30,000 stipend for serving the community in Mesquite, Nevada
- Unrestricted Nevada MD/DO license
- Current Nevada pharmacy license and DEA certificate required before start date
- BC/BE in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or Geriatrics
- Comfortable being a collaborating provider for Advanced Practice Provider(s)
- Two years of experience in Primary Care
- Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
- Experience in managed care
- Experience in rural medicine

Life in the Mountain West
Mesquite, Nevada is a small community of 22,000 located in Clark County, the same county as Las Vegas, adjacent to the Arizona state line. It is 80 miles northeast of Las Vegas, and easily accessible via Interstate 15. Mesquite covers an area of approximately 32.4 square miles.
