Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) is seeking an Overnight Clinical Supervisor to oversee the Detox and Crisis staff. The Overnight Clinical Supervisor provides oversight of all clinical teams and staff in the Victor St. building, Detox Recovery, Walk-in Crisis, and the Crisis Stabilization Unit. The Clinical Supervisor collaborates with Program Managers, and Division Director to coordinate initial and ongoing trainings for overnight crisis and detox staff, onboard new staff within assigned team, and will oversee new skill development for clinical tasks and share skill training opportunities with other staff. The Clinical Supervisor will support and motivate staff on the overnight shift to complete designated tasks and will provide direction to department staff whenever needed.

$5,000 Sign On Bonus Available *Not eligible for PRN candidates, internal employees, and re-hired employees within 90 days from separation.

Based on full time (40 hours/week). Prorate if less than 40 hours/week. Paid in two installments: 50% on first paycheck, 50% on paycheck following 6-month anniversary.

Salary for this role.

Salary is based on 1.0 FTE (full time equivalent) or 40 hours per week. Less than 40 hours/week will be prorated and adjusted to the appropriate FTE. Salary is also based on experience and company equity.

Licensed Therapist: $34.49 - $47.19 per hour.
Licensed Psychologist: $47.19 - $56.27 per hour.

Shift. This position is Fully In-person/On-site. Rotating overnight shifts across the 7 nights of the week: 7:00 pm - 3:00 am. Ideal shift would be Thursday - Sunday, 8:00 pm - 6:30 am

Shift Differential Pay. The afternoon or swing shift is from 3 pm to 11 pm. OR The evening shift is from 11 pm to 7 am.

Overnight Weekday (Monday - Thursday): $4.00/hour
Overnight Weekend (Friday, Saturday & Sunday): $5.00/hour
Swing Weekday (Mon-Thurs): $2.75/hour
Swing Weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun): $3.25/hour

Bilingual Language Differential Pay. *rate depends on language requirements for the position and candidate's fluency.

Will receive scheduled earnings on a bi-weekly basis for all hours worked (excluding non-productive hours paid but not worked, e.g., paid time off, holiday, administrative, etc.) in an amount equivalent to 5% of their regular base rate (hourly or salaried), to a maximum amount of $3,000.00 per calendar year. *the annual maximum amount will be prorated based on full time equivalency (FTE).

About the team.

Our acute crisis services division is a part of a statewide crisis initiative that provides resources for mental health, substance-abuse and or emotional crisis health, information, and referrals. Our crisis services include a 24/7 walk-in crisis clinic that provides mental health assessments and referrals for individuals experiencing any self-defined crisis. We also operate a 24/7 16-bed adult crisis stabilization unit (CSU) that provides mental health treatment in the form of medication services, individual and group therapy, and 24-hour support. All employees who work in crisis services are expected to work on site with clients and are provided all necessary PPE.

About you.

The ideal candidate has leadership and supervisory experience in the mental health field, is well organized, has demonstrated experience in crisis management, de-escalation, withdrawal management, and is proficient in M1 hold procedures and regulations. This candidate should have a strong desire for knowledge and learning, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be well organized and able to prioritize tasks, and be able to work well while around other clinical staff throughout the building. This candidate should also be willing to step in and help out with a variety of tasks on all three teams, and work well with a variety of interdisciplinary staff.

Responsibilities:

Supervisor Accountabilities: Lead a work group and provide direction on a daily basis. Provide feedback to employees and may provide input into performance review. Monitor and guide performance indicators.
Serve as the overnight supervisor and liaison between managers during daytime hours and overnight staff on three teams during overnight hours. Supervise components of clinical operations and assist with setting program policy and procedures for teams.
Build and maintain cohesive, supportive, reflective, respectful relationships among staff.
Step into all roles (except for the van driver) to support, move along, or supplement processes on all three detox and crisis teams
Work to support and receive guidance by crisis services manager 2/3 of time and detox services manager 1/3 of time.
Review all process data with staff and discuss areas for improvement and respond to clinical areas of need with specific training for staff.
Review all outcome data on a quarterly basis with staff and discuss areas for improvement and respond to clinical areas of need with specific training for staff.
Supervise entry of all data by overnight staff and ensure accuracy, and conduct chart reviews.
Build relationships and work collaboratively with local non-profit agencies, public social services, and state policy makers to enhance their understanding and utilization of services.
Support the two Program Managers with tasks, as requested
Staff member will monitor and coordinate care for assigned clients in partnership with the other members of the clients’ care team.
Attends supervision with manager of crisis twice monthly. Attends supervision with manager of detox one time monthly.
Provide group supervision to overnight staff one hour, twice monthly: crisis therapists, shift coordinators. Provide individual supervision to crisis therapists one hour, twice monthly.
Host a team meeting for crisis overnight staff two times per month. Host a team meeting for detox staff one time per month
Supervision and oversight of WIC, CSU, and Detox operations, including client care, staff work productivity, incoming referrals, and interactions with community partners during overnight hours.
Collaborate with medical staff on a nightly basis.
Regularly meet with the manager of nursing for better coordination and understand of the medical clinical treatment of clients at the CSU.
Assist with admissions and intake evaluations of WIC and detox clients during shift hours. Documentation for these clinical tasks is also expected to be completed within 24 hours of the contact with a client.

Requirements:

Licensed mental health clinician with Masters or Doctoral degree in social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or related field.
Clinical Licensure required: LP, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Ph.D, Psy.D
Five (5) years of experience working psychotherapeutically with clients, along with experience specific to the program being led preferred.
Significant previous experience working in office and community-based settings.
Knowledge of crisis and detox recovery mental health interventions and diagnoses.
Knowledge and experience working with diverse cultures and ethnicities.
Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
Excellent communication skills.

Required Vaccinations and TB Test.
