Role Overview:

As an IT End User Specialist 2, you will be the first line of support for all IT-related issues within our manufacturing facility. Your primary goal is to ensure that our employees can work efficiently and effectively by resolving technical issues promptly and maintaining smooth IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level technical support to end users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
  • Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Document and track all support requests using our ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with corporate IT to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Conduct training sessions for employees to improve their IT proficiency and prevent future issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and best practices to enhance our IT infrastructure.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in an IT support role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common IT hardware.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with ITIL best practices and experience using ticketing systems is a plus.
