To qualify, applicants must have:
  • A master's degree or doctorate from an accredited university
  • Active state-level licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Child Abuse Clearance
  • Criminal Background Check
  • Fingerprinting
  • Experience working with young children is a plus but not required
What to expect from this role?
  • Evaluate infants and toddlers using the appropriate individualized assessment activities to establish the infant/toddler's eligibility for Early Intervention Services and address the concerns of the family about their child's development
  • Identify infants and toddlers who meet one or more of the eligibility criteria: developmental delay, informed clinical opinion, or a diagnosis which has a high probability of resulting in a developmental delay
  • Complete evaluation documentation and assist families in creating functional outcomes for their children
  • Maintain appropriate records
  • Perform other PT duties/responsibilities required by the Program and within the scope of licensure and/or certification
  • Ensure all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations
