Medical Surgical Nurse

Job Summary: The Medical Surgical Nurse (RN) at ATC Philadelphia will be responsible for providing direct patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The role requires a highly skilled and compassionate individual who will promote the well-being and recovery of patients with various medical conditions. Sign on now to receive access to all of our contractual & per-diem opportunities Types of facilities include: * Hospitals * Drug & Alcohol Rehabs * Long Term Care * On-call/Hospice * Behavioral/Mental Health * & more Compensation & Benefits: The Medical Surgical Nurse (RN) at ATC Philadelphia will receive a compensation of $52 to $54 per hour, which will be paid weekly. In addition to the competitive salary, this position also offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, 401K, and career development opportunities. Responsibilities: * Conduct initial assessments of patients' conditions and develop appropriate care plans * Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians * Monitor and document patients' vital signs and progress * Collaborate with medical team members to ensure quality patient care * Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions and treatment plans * Prepare and assist with medical procedures and surgeries * Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records * Respond to emergency situations in a timely and calm manner * Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures in accordance with state and federal regulations Requirements: * Valid RN license in the state of Pennsylvania * Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Medical Surgical Nurse * BLS (required) ACLS (preferred) * Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment * Must be able to lift and move patients as needed * Flexibility to work day, night, and weekend shifts as scheduled EEOC Statement: ATC Philadelphia is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
