Our client,  a medical management company located in Lake Success, is seeking a medical credentialing specialist on a temp to hire basis.  In this role, you will be responsible for credentialing physicians and other medical providers into various insurance companies. Ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, experience working in the credentialing and/or medical field and must be responsible and hardworking with a great attention to detail.  They will consider a medical receptionist who has experience with Medicare/Medicaid, excellent communication skills and wants to learn credentialing. 

Job Requirements and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  •  1-2 years of credentialing experience  
  • Familiarity with ERA / EFT setup
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with providers, insurance companies and staff
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Office 365
