A leading critical access healthcare team based in northern Maine is now seeking a Regional Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist to join their award-winning organization.

Comprising two critical access hospitals and various clinic sites, this organization offers quality inpatient, outpatient, and tertiary care services. These locations provide emergency, critical care, surgical services, women’s and children’s health, lab and imaging services, and rehabilitative care. This system prides itself on quality, patient safety, and overall patient satisfaction. 

Reporting to the Diagnostic Imaging Manager, the Regional Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist will accurately perform various echocardiography procedures in an inpatient setting. Other responsibilities include understanding all aspects of cardiac disease, monitoring laboratory equipment, collaborating with multidisciplinary care teams, helping to educate patients and families, and ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulatory standards. This position will include four 10-hour shifts per week split between two hospital locations.

What’s Needed to Succeed:

  • Degree in radiologic technology or related field
  • Certification as a Cardiac Sonographer RDCS
  • Prior working experience is a plus
