Job Duties:
* Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including gathering information about patients' mental health history, current symptoms, and psychosocial functioning.
* Perform thorough physical assessments to identify any medical conditions or physiological factors that may contribute to or complicate mental health issues.
* Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' diagnoses, needs, and preferences.
* Administer medications, including psychotropic drugs, according to physician orders and established protocols, ensuring accurate dosage and monitoring for adverse reactions.
* Provide therapeutic interventions and support, such as individual or group counseling, crisis intervention, and behavior management techniques, to promote patients' recovery and well-being.
* Monitor patients' mental status, behaviors, and vital signs, recognizing and responding promptly to changes in condition or signs of distress.
* Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, medication management, and coping strategies, fostering empowerment and self-management.
* Facilitate psychoeducation groups and support groups to address topics such as stress management, symptom recognition, and relapse prevention.
* Collaborate with community resources, including outpatient clinics, social services agencies, and support groups, to provide continuity of care and facilitate patients' transition to community living.
* Document nursing assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely in electronic medical records, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Job Requirements:
* 2+ year of inpatient Psych experience
* MI State License
* BLS (AHA)
* Covid Card
* CPI Certification
* Candidate shouldn't be within 50 Miles from the facility
Schedule:
* 3x12
* Nights
* 36 hours guaranteed in a week
Benefits: Referral Bonus

Pay: $50.00 - $57.00 per hour
