We have a rare Full-time Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant opportunity to join our talented & stable ED team at Jupiter Medical Center, a full-service community hospital located in the beautiful area of Palm Beach County in Jupiter, Florida This award-winning hospital was just recognized as "America's Best-In-State Hospital 2024" & "World's Best Hospitals 2024" ranked and recognized by Newsweek.

Position Profile:

  • 50,000 annual ED volume
  • 39-bed ED with a 12-bed designated Fast Track
  • 8 and 12 hour shifts and no overnight shifts
  • Daily APP coverage with an experienced APP team
  • Cerner EMR currently & moving to EPIC in late 2024
  • Primary Stroke Center
  • 2 state-of-the-art Cardiac Cath Labs

APP Qualifications: Minimum of 1-2 years of EM experience or Urgent Care experience as a Physician Assistant.

  • Pediatrics – The Mastroianni Family Pediatric Emergency Department offers 24/7 ER Pediatric Physicians & Nurses to meet the needs of children up to 18 years old. The ED features 8 treatment rooms, including an orthopedic room, 2 triage areas, & medical equipment designed for pediatric patients.
  • On-Call Specialty Roster includes General Medicine, Cardiology, General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery, Spine Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Neurology (incomplete), Otolaryngology (incomplete), Urology (incomplete), Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery, Pediatric Hospitalist.
