Forward Slope currently has an open position for a full-time IT Specialist to join our team. The position is located in Guam.

Forward Slope is seeking an IT Specialist with excellent organizational and time management skills to join our team and provide technical support to military construction projects. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, need minimal direction, and have a passion for Information Technology.

Responsibilities:

• Assist construction project engineers in the design, development and installation of IT systems for various military construction projects
• Provide on-site support for the receipt, inventory and installation of IT systems
• Define scope, plans, and deliverables for assigned projects.
• Collect, identify, define, and organize detailed user and IT requirements
• Coordinate and collaborate with others in analyzing collected requirements to ensure plans and identified solutions meet customer needs and expectations
• Confirm and prioritize project plans and deliverables with the customer
• Create and maintain procedures and documentation
• Management of hardware and software inventory
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Currently hold an active U.S security clearance or be able to obtain one
• Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline. Relevant work experience and training may be considered in lieu of degree
• Three (3) years of related experience
• Prior experience with telecommunications standards, including ANSI/TIA=569, 569 and 607, as well as the Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly and independently

Desired Qualifications:

• CompTIA A+ or CompTIA Security+ certification
• BICSI Technician (TECH) certification
• Prior U.S. military service
• Experience with military C4I systems
• Specialized experience in audio visual systems

*Hourly Range: $31 - $34/hourly
