Genie Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Long Term Acute Care Facility in Madison, WI.

Start: 2 Weeks from offer

Shift: 3x12s (7P-7A)

Pay Rate: $58

Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature
- Assist with diagnostic procedures, such as CT scans and ophthalmology exams
- Provide wound care and perform dressing changes
- Catheterize patients when necessary
- Administer tube feedings and monitor nutritional status
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care
- Educate patients and their families on disease management and self-care techniques
- Maintain accurate medical records using ICD-10 coding

Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Experience in ICU, Step-Down or Acute Care
- Proficiency in conducting comprehensive patient assessments
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
