Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in critical situations and demonstrate expertise in various medical procedures.

Responsibilities:

- Perform patient assessments and provide appropriate interventions in emergency situations
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement patient care plans
- Conduct discharge planning and provide education to patients and their families
- Utilize venipuncture skills for blood draws and IV insertions
- Assist in esthetic laser treatments and ophthalmology procedures
- Coordinate inpatient care and facilitate transitions to home community care
- Adhere to workers compensation laws and regulations
- Respond promptly to urgent care needs and emergencies

Requirements:

- Valid RN license and BLS certification
- Previous experience in an Emergency Room setting preferred
- Proficiency in patient care techniques and critical thinking skills
- Ability to lift and move patients when necessary
- Knowledge of venipuncture procedures and ophthalmology practices
- Familiarity with discharge planning processes
- Strong understanding of workers compensation laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
