Database Administrator (DBA) Job Summary:

You are a DBA or a Senior Software Engineer with a strong SQL background who will work on a high-performing, motivated, flexible Agile Scrum team. The team is responsible for the design, development, testing, and administrative support for Inntopia’s E-Commerce database application and infrastructure. We utilize a full Microsoft .NET technical stack with SQL Server operating in a high availability, high volume, multilingual, PCI compliant environment, but we are also interested in branching out from a Relational Database Management System into NoSQL and other storage technologies. We balance our roadmap with client needs to deliver maximum value to the business and customers on a regular monthly release cycle – which means you will see your contributions and be able to get and deliver feedback early and often.

You will engage in a project’s full lifecycle, from design through production, while working with a Product Owner to understand requirements and priorities. As a member of a small, collaborative, and empowered team, you can affect change at every level of the organization and make us better every day.

 

Database Administrator (DBA) Required Qualifications:

  • 5-7+ years experience with the following platform technologies: 
    • ASP.NET, C#, .Net Core, Entity Framework
    • Front-end dev including: JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, Angular
    • SQL, T-SQL, LINQ to SQL, SQL Server
    • RESTful Web Services, SOAP 
    • Windows Server 2019+, IIS
    • Azure Cloud, Azure Storage, Redis or similar
  • Hands-on experience with the below tools:
    • Microsoft Visual Studio 2022+
    • Microsoft Visual Studio Code
    • Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
    • SQL Server Reporting Services


Database Administrator (DBA) Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with the following tools:
    • Azure DevOps
    • Azure Monitor / Log Analytics
