Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Observe with foresight: Implement preventive quality assurance in projects in the field of electromobility, especially electric motors, by assuming the EPQ role (Engineering Product Quality).
  • Assume responsibility: Participate in project management to ensure product quality. Responsibility for quality processes.
  • Operationally strong: Work close to the project and determine the need for action together with the specialist departments and prepare it for decision-making
  • Live cooperation: Contact person at eye level in development projects with regard to quality aspects and compliance
  • Structured evaluation and monitoring: Collate information relating to risks and present it independently and transparently
  • Personality: Enthusiasm, assertiveness and results-orientation
  • Working style: Structured cross-functional work, also with different national and company cultures
  • Ability to learn: Willingness to engage oneself and acquire related knowledge in a timely manner with any quality topic.


Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Several years of professional experience as a quality engineer with customer contact or as a developer of automotive components with a focus on quality management; knowledge of system engineering and/or component testing is desirable
  • Expertise: Knowledge of Q methods and standards in their practical application as well as applied problem solving. Knowledge of product design with BES-PE or BES-PE@SW as well as product releases.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Well versed with MS Office Suite products: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Note.
