Come work with a local, woman, and therapist founded and run company Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Sign Language Interpreter to provide services in the school setting for the rest of the 2023-2024 school year. We are looking for to hire for a full time position.

*Responsibilities and Duties*
* The Sign Language Interpreter transliterates and interprets, through use of sign language, materials for the hearing disabled student. Facilitates communication between users and non-users of sign language.
* Position begins ASAP thru June 21, 2024 (and very likely to continue into next school year)
* High School assignment

*Qualifications and Skills*
* Thorough knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL) and Signing Exact English
* Must have State Authorization as an Educational Interpreter
* *4.0 EIPA or higher required *
* Requires fingerprinting before starting

Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
