• Efficiently seat and section guests according to arrival order and reservation status.
• Present menus with detailed knowledge and answer questions about ingredients, preparation methods, and food pairings.
• Offer personalized recommendations based on guest preferences and dietary restrictions.
• Provide attentive and unobtrusive service throughout the dining experience, ensuring guests' needs are anticipated and met.
• Deliver food and beverages with impeccable timing and presentation.
• Address guest concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring their satisfaction.
Food and Beverage Knowledge:
• Possess in-depth knowledge of the menu, including preparation methods, ingredients, and seasonality of dishes.
• Maintain an extensive understanding of wine varietals and food pairing principles.
• Confidently recommend wines and beverages to complement each course.
Restaurant Operations:
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, ensuring tables are set and ready for guests.
• Follow established service protocols for food and beverage presentation and clearance.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless operations.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
Professionalism:
• Always maintain a professional demeanor and appearance.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with guests and colleagues.
• Demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Be adaptable and willing to learn new skills.
• Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings.
• Extensive knowledge of food and wine, including food pairing principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
