Stockroom Administrator

Our Electronics Design and Manufacturing company is looking for a fulltime stockroom administrator at our Burbank, CA location.
The ideal candidate that will be considered for this position should have strong leadership, team building, and communication skills. The stockroom administrator is responsible for the overall administration and performance of our stockroom operations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide a hands-on approach in directing of stockroom day-to-day activities to include order filling, stocking, shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
Responsible for the daily scheduling of new work orders and inventory transactions for the production floor.
Pulling materials to build kits for the production floor to assemble.
Receive product into the stockroom and verify product conformity via mechanical inspection, physical inspection, counting.
Maintain a safe and effective operating environment, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Responsible for maintenance of stockroom equipment, providing both preventive maintenance programs and communicating all necessary repairs to the Operations Manager.
Coordinate with other departments to facilitate efficient stockroom operations.
Monitor the flow of paperwork from Receiving to Inventory Control for timely data entry.
Resolve discrepancies with shipping, invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports.
Ensure products are staged for counting and inspection.
Ensure products are stored properly to conserve space and comply with ESD safety procedures.
Oversee the rotation of inventories within the stockroom.
Requirements
3+ years of administrative experience in logistics and warehousing.
Experience with Sage ERP or other similar software.
Able to use and read calipers, micrometer, thread gage, gage blocks for inspection.
Able to read and understand metal fabrication drawings.
Strong leadership, team building, and communication skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Knowledge of MS Office a plus with emphasis on Word, Excel, and Outlook
Capable of lifting 35 pounds from floor to bench using a proper lifting technique.
Must be able to walk, sit and/or stand throughout an eight or ten-hour day.
Experience with Quality and Inspection processes, and very detail oriented.
