What will you be doing? You will be assisting the accountant with:
- Manage the accounting activities for the company, to include payroll data entry, accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank book, general ledger, and inventory adjustments.
- Process accounts payable payments via wire transfer, ACH, check and credit cards; ACH payment experience a plus.
- Reconcile and enter vendor invoices for on time payment -resolve purchase order, contract, invoice and/or payment discrepancies.
- Reconcile monthly credit card and bank statements.
- Process accounts receivable payments via wire transfer, ach, checks or credit card
- Invoice clients and customers.
- Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger
- Organize cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401K deductions, etc.
- Guide monthly accounting close
- Data Entry of employee timesheets
- Job quoting, order entry
- 3+ years relevant payroll, ar/ap, bank book, general ledger, and inventory experience, preferably in a high-volume environment –
- Strong familiarity with accounting software- SAGE is a plus
- Good understanding of MS Office
