Genie Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced LPN at Lon term care to fill an opening located in Petoskey, MI for $41.03/hr (taxed + non-taxed)

Requirements of the LPN:

● At least two years of SNF/LTC, Med Surg experience

● BLS (AHA)

● Covid Vaccine Required

● Copy of BLS (AHA) or ARC

● State license must Be Currently Active Arizona or Compact

● Pass a Background check / medical test / skill test / drug test

● Two (2) references from work history At least one reference must be from a supervisor.

## Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician, ensuring the well-being of patients and delivering high-quality healthcare services.

## Duties
- Perform catheter care and venipuncture procedures
- Conduct physical examinations and assist with medical procedures such as suturing
- Administer IV infusions and monitor patient responses
- Provide neonatal ventilator support and acute care services
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and assist with medical coding
- Offer compassionate care to patients of all ages, including toddlers

## Experience
### Required Skills:
- Proficiency in catheter care, venipuncture, and physical examinations
- Experience with medical documentation, IV infusion, and acute care
- Ability to suture wounds and provide neonatal ventilator support

### Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with medical coding practices
- Previous experience in toddler care
