Star Fleet believes its most valuable asset is our fleet of owner operators, which is why we strive to provide them with fair pay, valuable benefits, and flexible schedules. We are now hiring CDL-A owner operators with "toters" to deliver manufactured houses and park models from our various locations. Most deliveries average 300 miles, but some can be upwards of 1100 miles.

Owner Operator Compensation & Benefits:

Owner Operator Minimum Requirements:
CDL A license required - no airbrake restrictions
Oversize hauling experience with knowledge of permit requirements
Must be at least 23 years of age
Specialized semi-truck (toter) - 20 year or newer in presentable shape with amber rotating light on top
Truck length should not exceed 28'. Single or tandem axle are acceptable
Must meet oversize regulation requirements
Have a valid driver license for the vehicles they will operate
Valid Passport, passport card, or enhanced driver license for deliveries into or through Canada
Able to pass a DOT physical and obtain at least 1 year of eligibility on the physical
Have at least 1 year of verifiable CDL over the road experience if operating a semi-tractor
Have at least 6 months verifiable experience in operating similar vehicles that you will be operating while under contract or lease with Star Fleet Trucking
Must be approved by Star Fleet Trucking's insurance company
Although Star Fleet Trucking is not a forced dispatch operation, we do expect that independent contractors will assist in getting the customer's freight to locations that may not always meet your likes.
