Job Summary

The University of North Georgia invites applicants for a full-time position of Limited-Term Lecturer in the department of Visual Arts to begin fall 2024. Job responsibilities include Art History and Art Appreciation courses and may be on multiple campuses and/or online as needed.

Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate will:
    • Demonstrate a successful record (and commitment to) teaching in a liberal art environment
    • Duties and responsibilities include teaching up to five Art History and/or Art Appreciation courses each semester, holding office hours, and attending department meetings.
Required Qualifications
  • M.F.A. in Art or equivalent experience.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience teaching college-level courses, credentials in digitally created art, and those who have experience in teaching on-line courses.
