We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and experienced RN to join our team as a full-time Home Health Visiting Nurse. The RN will be providing healthcare services to individuals in their homes in Wilson, NC. The ideal candidate should have at least one year of experience as an RN in a home health setting or a related healthcare field.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments and create individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Administer skilled nursing care including wound care, medication management, and other nursing procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members such as physicians, therapists, and social workers.
• Accurately document patient care in electronic medical records.
• Keep up-to-date with nursing practices and trends in home health care.
Qualifications:
• Active RN license in the state.
• OASIS certification required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in home health care or a related healthcare field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple patients.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance.
• Proficient in using electronic medical records.
• Must have current CPR certification.
