Pay:
Total weekly compensation: $2,468.00
Duties:
Assist in cardiovascular surgical procedures, ensuring sterile technique and proper equipment setup.
Prepare and position patients for surgery, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Handle and maintain surgical instruments and supplies.
Monitor patients during surgery and assist the surgical team as needed.
Ensure accurate documentation of procedures and patient records in the electronic health records system.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues with surgical equipment.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CVOR Tech preferred.
Proficiency in cardiovascular surgical procedures, including CT surgery.
Experience with thoracic surgery is highly preferred.
Strong critical thinking skills and ability to handle high-pressure situations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with medical office procedures and electronic health records systems.
Requirements:
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required.
Cardiac experience required; must be competent in CT surgery, with thoracic experience preferred.
Ability to be flexible with time schedule and location within the Rochester area.
One weekend of call per month, on call during the week, and one late shift per week.

Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks
