We are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our healthcare team, serving patients across a variety of settings within the Allina Health Group.
*Job Summary:*
16 bed Specialty Care Unit, patients managed by hospitalists, 1:3 RN/patient ratios, 1 NA and 1 PCT on per shift. Patient populations include simple sepsis, DKA, pain management, respiratory failure (Bipap and short-term ventilator, < 48 hour), CHF, HTN, MI with no interventions, withdrawal management, renal failure (hemodialysis), conscious sedation management and vasopressor management, strokes with no interventions
*Required Qualifications *
* Associate's or Vocational degree required
* Tier 1: 1+ year current SCU experience or intermediate experience
* Tier 2: 1+ year telemetry experience
* Tier 3: 1+ year med surg experience
*Licenses/Certifications*
* Licensed Registered Nurse - MN Board of Nursing required if working in the state of MN upon hire
* BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource required by completion of orientation
* ACLS/BLS Tier 2-Advanced Cardiac Life Support - Multisource required
