Position Overview:
Pride Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Emergency Department RN to join our healthcare team in Milford, Massachusetts. This is a 36-hour, 7p-7a contract position, with a schedule that includes varying days, every other weekend, and holiday shifts. This opportunity is ideal for experienced emergency care professionals looking to make a meaningful impact in a Level III Trauma Center setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to patients in the emergency department, including trauma resuscitation, stabilization, and management of critical patients.
- Perform comprehensive assessments, triage, and clinical interventions as needed in high-pressure situations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and ensure timely updates to patient records.
- Maintain a safe, efficient, and compassionate environment for patients and families.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatments, procedures, and preventive care.
- Adhere to infection control practices, hospital policies, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Emergency Care required.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association. ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support). PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
- Additional Requirement: COVID-19 vaccination (2023-2024 booster or declination) required to work on-site at the facility.
