ChristianaCare is currently seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for our OBGYN practice located at 137 West High Street #3b, Elkton, MD 21921 . This position will provide both patient care and telephone triage support.

Work Schedule

  • Monday-Friday
  • 8:00am-4:30pm
  • no weekends or holidays

Position Highlights

  • Provides telephone triage support for a well established Women's Health Practice. There are a total of 2 physicians and 2 nurse practitioners.
  • Obtains authorizations for tests, procedures and medications.
  • Applies critical thinking skills and women's health experience to help patient's navigate questions and concerns.
  • Responsible for a variety of tasks including, but not limited to nurse visits, blood draws, blood pressure checks, injections, fetal monitoring assessments, and patient education.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • A graduate of a state approved or National League of Nursing accredited School of Nursing.
  • Two years’ experience as a RN, physician office experience preferred.
  • BSN preferred; ADN considered with agreement of completion of BSN in 3 years.

Special Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the State of Maryland.
  • BLS certification required.
