Job Summary
The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the nursing department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for elder care, a strong leadership and management background, and a commitment to providing quality care to our residents.
Responsibilities
* Provide leadership and direction to the nursing staff
* Ensure that all residents receive the highest quality of care
* Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
* Monitor the nursing budget and ensure that resources are used efficiently
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure that the needs of residents are met
* Represent the nursing department to the administration and to the community
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
* Current RN license in the state you are working in
* Valid CPR certification
* At least 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
* Strong leadership and management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
