Permanent Full Time / Night Shift / Sign On Bonus Available
MLR is currently looking for an experienced and compassionate ICU Registered Nurse - RN to become part of our client’s healthcare team. In this position, you'll deliver critical care to patients facing severe, life-threatening conditions. Your expertise, quick thinking, and keen attention to detail are essential for achieving optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities of an ICU RN:
Deliver specialized nursing care to critically ill patients, including continuous monitoring, assessment, and adjustment of care plans as needed.
Administer medications, treatments, and advanced life support procedures with precision, ensuring timely and accurate care.
Work closely with physicians, specialists, and the healthcare team to create and implement personalized patient care strategies.
Manage and maintain advanced medical equipment, such as ventilators, monitoring devices, and life-support systems.
Communicate clearly with patients’ families, providing support, education, and updates on the patient’s condition.
Accurately document all care provided in the patient’s medical records, adhering to hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Registered Nurse Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Mexico.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory within 2 weeks of hire.
Previous ICU or critical care experience is preferred.
