Office Responsibilities :
Obtain a full patient history, and review current medical problems
Provide a physical exam, report findings to physicians
Assist patients with questions or concerns regarding their treatment
Dictate physician-dictated diagnosis and office visit
Accurately and thoroughly document medical visit
Prepare referral letters as directed by physician
Provide patient education
Check and correct mistakes in medical documentation to reduce errors
Assist with quality improvement measures
Assist with summarizing medical records for narratives and IME's
Hours are 8:30am - 5:00 pm Monday - Friday
Requirements:
Active Certification by NATABOC
Graduate of NATA approved curriculum
New Jersey State AT License
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional communication and organizational skills
Ability to type quickly and accurately. Proofread and edit physician's medical documents for accuracy, spelling, punctuation, and grammar
Comply with HIPAA confidentiality standards
