Platform Waste Solutions is now hiring CDL A or B Local Drivers in Nashville, TN - Drivers must be willing to travel to other sites within 2 hours if needed. Platform Waste Solutions is an environmental services company that provides waste management solutions for the residents we serve. Compensation:

  • Hourly Wages: Starting at $22 per hour (based on experience)
  • Average of45-55hours per week
  • Overtime pay after 40 hours worked
  • Paid weeklyvia direct deposit

Home Time, Route, & Schedule:

  • Home Time: Home daily
  • Schedule: Monday Friday, weekends as needed
  • Shift: Start time at 5:00am until the route is complete, average 9-11 hours per day
  • Route: Residential waste/recycling collection services based on assigned routes
    • Must be willing to travel to other sites within 2 hours if needed, compensation for travel
  • Level of Touch:
    • Varies based on the truck, primarily side load
    • Loading and unloading waste

Equipment:

  • Waste/dump trucks
  • Automatic transmission
  • Manual transmission is available but not required

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have CDL B or Alicense
  • Drivers will ideally have a minimum of 6 months driving experience
  • Drivers must have a clean driving record with no moving violations
  • No more than three (3) motor vehicle violations within the last three (3) years
  • Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
  • Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
  • Must be able to pass background check
  • Drivers must live within 40 miles of Nashville, TN or be willing to relocate for this position
    • Must be willing to travel to other sites within 2 hours if needed, compensation for travel
