What are my responsibilities?

Communicating and Coordinating with Dispatchers
Obeying and following traffic laws
Document and maintain accurate driving logs
Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues ensuring any mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected before driving
Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as with company policies and procedures
Report defects, accidents, and violations

As a CDL Driver at Custom Ecology, you'll work locally and can have your nights spent at HOME
Truck Drivers with CEI travel locally hauling MSW (Municipal Solid Waste consisting of residential and industrial waste) from transfer stations to landfills while adhering to local laws and understanding safety policies and regulations.

A clean driving record and up-to-date CDL are a MUST
CEI is looking for experienced and local Class A CDL Truck Drivers to join our team.
What are the requirements?

Must be able to drive a Standard truck
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must have an up-to-date CDL and clean driving record (no serious tickets or accidents in last 5 years)
Must have 2 years of prior and verifiable Tractor-Trailer experience
Must have Tractor-Trailer experience within the last 6 months
Must have an up-to-date and certified DOT Medical Card
Must be able to pass required pre-employment drug screen and background checks
Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions
Must have reliable transportation to and from the yard
