*Overview*
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including hospitals, urgent care facilities, and assisted living environments. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients while assisting nursing staff with their daily responsibilities.

shift:12 hour nights; 6:00PM-6:30AM

*Duties*
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Provide catheter care and assist with medication administration as directed by nursing staff.
- Help lift and transfer patients safely to prevent injury.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and common areas.
- Document patient information accurately using electronic health record systems such as Epic.
- Support emergency medicine procedures when necessary, ensuring a calm environment for patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

*Qualifications*
- Knowledge of anatomy and basic medical terminology is preferred.
- Experience in assisted living or hospital environments is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with patient care, including lifting and transferring patients.
- Familiarity with emergency medicine protocols is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant or equivalent training is required.
