*SUMMARY*

The physicians and staff at AAIA, strive to provide the highest quality of care to patients seeking treatment for allergies, asthma, immunologic conditions, and other related health needs. We have been serving Lincoln, Omaha, and surrounding communities for over 40 years, and we are currently seeking an RN for our Lincoln clinic.

*CLINICAL DUTIES*
* Support provider teams by providing quality nursing care to both pediatric and adult patients
* Preparation and administration of allergy vaccines
* Administer nebulizer treatments
* Perform all testing (skin, breathing, etc.)
* Provide patients with educational literature
* Triage medical calls, give advice as necessary, and consult with the providers
* Maintain a smooth patient flow
* Comply with all OSHA/HIPAA and other government regulations
* Other duties as assigned

*EDUCATION / EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS*

*Education-*
* Must be actively licensed in the state of Nebraska
* Current CPR/AED certification for Healthcare Providers preferred

*Skills-*
* IV skills
* Excellent patient rapport
* Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
* Excellent communication
* Patient confidentiality
* EMR experience preferred

*PHYSICAL DEMANDS*

This position requires intermittent physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching as well as lifting. The employee may lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

*WORK ENVIRONMENT*

This job will require exposure to patient elements. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
